Norman Rankis, Information Technology & Automated Process Controls Manager

Norman Rankis is currently the Information Technology & Automated Process Controls Manager for McWane Ductile of New Jersey. He has an extensive background in Information Technology and Higher Education. He was the first College Chancellor in the history of Gibbs College which opened in 1950. He also served as guest faculty for U.S Homeland Defense agencies, specializing in Cyber Security. He has been used as a  resource specialist for the Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle, Chicago Sun-Times and the Miami Herald.

Rankis, who was also a co-founder of the Cittone Institute Systems Programming Education Division which was purchased by Lincoln Technical Institute. He also served as CIO for Centenary College for 8 years. His background also includes developing, in conjunction with Microsoft Corporation, a case study on digital dashboards, which is now referenced in the text Knowledge Management Systems (by Jerry Honeycutt, Microsoft Press). Modern Casting a publication of the American Foundry Society also published his work on “Knowledge Management Using Digital Dashboards”.  His interests are in Plant Data Knowledge Management Systems with an emphasis in Data Security.  He holds professional Certifications in Security, Project Management and is a Scrum Master. He Graduated Centenary University with a Masters in Instructional Leadership.
