Dr. James J. Hunt and his co-founders strongly believed that embedded systems would flourish in the heart of German industry. In 2001, they founded aicas. James looks back on more than 30 years of software experience, from wafer-scale CAD tools to realtime safety-critical embedded systems. James has a BS in computer science and physics from Yale University, an MA in computer science from Boston University, and a PhD in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe.
