Dan Drellich

Dan Drellich is the U.S. Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Business Partnering at EMD Electronics, the Electronics business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. In these roles, he leads the HR, IT, and Procurement organizations to develop and execute the company’s vision for global business support and collaboration and oversees the Electronics business goals and strategies in the United States.

Additionally, Dan leads the Electronics Enabling Functions Council, which encompasses Communications, Controlling, HR, IT, Legal, and Procurement, with the goal of fostering cross-functional collaboration, supporting people development, and driving business growth. Prior to his current roles, he held various leadership positions across the company’s Life Science and Electronics divisions.

With more than 23 years of experience in HR, Dan is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of supporting and enabling large organizations. Before joining Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, he spent over seven years in human resources at Raytheon. He holds both a BA and an MS in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University.
